Introducing a Guest Stamper

I'm still in the midst of remodeling, finishing out the school year for myself and planning things for graduation. So, I've asked a dear friend and fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator to be my guest artist for today. Her name is Lisa Woods and she lives in San Diego. Lisa and I "met" several years ago on a Stampin' Up! AOL chat board. Turned out her Mom lives a short distance from me, so we were able to meet in person a couple of years ago. We've kept in touch and participate in a monthly swap together. Lisa's cards are fantastic. She puts in so many little details and has the best ideas. Here's Lisa's bio:

" I started stamping when I became a stay at home mom 10 years ago. Something to do during the day while hanging out with babies appealed to me, and a group of us Moms would get together during the week and create. My friends talked me into becoming a demo so they could take classes from me, so I signed up. It's been 4 years and the friends still come stamp with me twice a month. I've had the best time meeting new people and showing them how easy it is to make beautiful artwork with rubber and ink."

Today is Quick Card Thursday and here's Lisa's card:
When Lisa sent me this card, I fell in love with it. It's simple but makes such a statement! All products from Stampin' Up!
Stamp Set: Embrace Life, Smarty Pants
Cardstock: Groovy Guava, River Rock, Cameo Coral
Ink: Groovy Guava, Rose Red
Other: Ginger Blossom DSP, Cutter Kit

I love how Lisa used the verbage from the Smarty Pants set. She made it the focal point of this card and it really works! THANKS Lisa for being my guest stamper. I have another one of Lisa's creations to share with you tomorrow, so check back!

I love the distressing. I haven't played with my ginger blossoms paper in a while; looks like it is time to get it out again! Great quick card!
