Ok, not really but I did make this ensemble for a swap I'm participating in at convention. My friend and roommate Diane twisted my arm really hard for this one. I choose the destination/themed wedding group. My original idea was do use Ahoy, Matey and change the Pirate boy into a Pirate bride and groom but after over a week of trying and several drafts that just didn't come to be. I can see it in my head but I just don't have the time or patience for it so I was off to plan B. Here, locally, we have a great garden spot called Weston Gardens in Bloom. They have these wonderful demonstration gardens and the have this great stone ship that is being restored. I always thought it would be a great place for a wedding. Apparently when the place was a personal residence, they threw lavish parties and the ship was used for dances! Anyway, I decided to do a garden themed wedding. I used the Pretty Peony stamp set as my basis for all my pieces. I have to say this swap challenged me to no end but I am really pleased at the results. Here's a picture of the entire ensemble:I hope you enjoy it and if you know someone getting married in the future, have them give me a call.
Here I am in Kanab, Utah at the park that Shelli Gardner and her husband Sterling had rebuilt. The fall zone is made up of chopped up rubber bits from Stampin' Up! stamps that are manufactured in Kanab!
