Quick Card Thursday--Upsy Daisy in Blue

I have fallen in love with shadow stamps! I didn't think it would be possible but the more I use them the more I enjoy the verstility of them. For one thing you can use them in a monochromatic setting like the card I did here. Or you can add color to them with markers or even do poppin' pastels with them. There are so many different ways to use them and so I think I'll enjoy these for a good, long while (or at least until they retire!). This set, Upsy Daisy, is one of the sets that is on sale until the end of September. It's $16.11 and it comes with this great floral image and three verses: Thank you for your friendship, You're on my mind, Birthday Celebrations. This makes it a great stamp for new and established stampers! I want to get back to my quick card Thursday feature and so I reached for this stamp to see what I could do. All products from Stampin' Up!
Stamp set: Upsy Daisy
Cardstock: Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, Shimmery White (I know I've been on a Shimmery White kick lately but I can't help it!)
Ink: Pacific Point
Accessories: Pacific Point doubl stripped ribbon, Kiwi Kiss Satin ribbon, dimensionals, large oval punch, Big Shot top note die, Button Bouquet buttons, white gel pen (to make "stitching" on button), glue dots

This card was so fast. After cutting the Top Note, I just stamped the image in Pacific Point. Stamped the greeting and punched out. Assembled the card. Easy! I'll be doing lots more with this set...check back!
