Eastern Blooms Meets Washington Apple!

Happy Saturday everyone! I'm posting really late tonight. I spent the morning doing a little stamping and then this afternoon I spent playing with my grandson. We had a great time. He discovered my punches on his last visit but we ran out of time to use him. Today he remembered them as soon as we walked in the door so he punched, he punched, and then he punched some more. It really was fun watching him and listening as he discussed all the different shapes! After he was done punching he glued his "work" to some paper. One for me and one for his Mom. We was so proud!

Here's my "work" for the day. I made this card this morning and I used the Eastern Blooms set and this year's Ronald McDonald set, Say it with Scallops! Eastern Blooms is on sale until the end of October. I really love the wavy lines in this large flower image. Kind of a funky, eclectic look. All products from Stampin' Up!
Stamp Sets: Eastern Blooms, Say it with Scallops
Paper: So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Shimmery White, Washington Apple DSP
Ink: So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Ruby Red
Accessories: Riding Hood Red Satin ribbon, square scallop punch, dimensionals

We had a lot of rain in our area today and some wind as a result of Ike that blew through Texas today. It's so hard to imagine the extent of the damage no matter how much we see on the news. My heart goes out to everyone who is dealing with the terrible aftermath of this storm. Let's all keep those suffering in our prayers and remember to be thankful for what we have every day!

Remember me telling you about my nephew and how crazy he is about the punches on our plane ride home from convention?? He LOVES them...that in itself has made the investment worthwhile! Glad you got to play!

Yes Lori, I do remember that conversation vividly and was thinking about it the day Miguel was here punching away.
