So, my Holiday mini preorder arrived yesterday and I mounted my stamps and started to play with them today. The mini ordering period starts Oct. 1st, so I'm letting my customers know up front that I will be placing an order out of this catalog on Oct. 3rd. That way you can get your the Halloween stamps in that catalog before Halloween! I really love this set and although I just used two images from it. The other images are great as well including a tag that works with our tag punch that says "Eat, Drink, & be scary" and has the cutest little spider hanging down. Of course my favorite thing about the whole set is a spider hanging from a "thread" and the thread says "happy fright night to you". Just too cute! I used that image on the dark gray strip on the right. The one thing I love about this card is all the layers. This was a weekend sketch challenge and while I tend to do layers, this card has even more layers than I normally do. It's hard to tell from the picture but the black layer under the striped paper is distressed which really adds some dimension to the card. The gray strip is scalloped and popped up with single dimensionals. The main image piece is popped up even more with double dimenionals. Oh, and the kiwi rectangle...that was made with our square scalloped punch! Here's the details on this card. All products from Stampin' Up!
