I told you'll this was the week for birthdays around here...I have a friend and my sister in law both celebrating birthday's today. I made this card for my sister in law earlier in the week. You see, she and my husband have this competition to see who can find the meanest card every year. With their birthday's three days apart it's always interesting to see what the other comes up with. Somehow along the way, I got mixed up in this (well my sil mixed me up in it and she sends me a not so nice card) which I got in time for my birthday yesterday. (Yes, you read it right...dh's birthday was Tuesday, mine was yesterday, and sil's is today...mix that with the fact that I have two friends with birthdays this week and it's nuts!) While I've never participated in this "exchange" I decided this year to make her a really nice card and send it to her. So, yesterday while I was gone to lunch with a friend SIL calls and says, "you were nice, I wasn't...sorry but I hope you have a good birthday anyway." I had to laugh, I told my DH that when she got my card she'd feel a little guilty and from her message I think she did. All products from Stampin' Up!

I had a good day yesterday, both DH and DS gave me wonderful cards that while not handmade I could tell they both spent some time looking for cards that had handmade elements to them. DS gave me a wonderful bouquet of flowers that he picked out and bought on his own. They tooke me out for a nice dinner. DH is wisking me away for a long weekend...so I'm a happy girl!
