Time to Celebrate!!

First off, I apologize for not posting the last couple of days. I've been suffering from severe allergies and my eyes just can't take the glare of the computer for too long. But, today I got this in my email:

Shelli selected your submission for her Creative Challenge as one of the winners, and she’ like to send you a free stamp set. If you can call or e-mail me with your mailing address and the stamp set you’d like, I’ll make sure I get it in the mail to you.

(name removed for privacy)

When the president and co-founder of Stampin' Up! started her blog right after convention she announced that she would have challenges posted every month or so. Her first challenge was a take on our convention theme this year which was Celebrate. This was an easy challenge for me because I created the book you see above as a convention swap. So, I submitted it for the challenge. Needless to say since that was back in August, I hadn't even thought about it in a long time. When I checked my email today I was just too excited for words and wanted to come and share the news with my blog readers! Now, to figure out what stamp set to get!!

For those of you who haven't checked out Shelli's blog, you might want to do so. It's www.soshelli.com She has a new challenge posted today and anyone can submit projects for her challenges. You don't have to be a demonstrator to participate. She made that very clear at convention that she hopes her blog is read by demos and customers alike.

I'm working on a couple of projects this week and hope to get finished up soon. I'll try and get some pictures taken and a new card or project uploaded for you later today.

Oh and the chipboard word books can be found at www.Icut4U.com

Until later!!
