Well, it was tinkering on 90 degrees here today so, I consoled myself by staying inside in the air conditioning and pretending it was cooler weather! I got out my Big Shot and my pennant die and started to work. I had no idea what I was going to do when I started but I have to say I like the way it came out. When Ron got home from work, he was impressed with my handy work. I used the new Autumn Vine Designer Series paper and some Chocolate Chip cardstock for the back of the pennant. I also used the Chocolate Chip cardstock to cut out the large scallop circle that the letters are mounted on. The letters are from the now retired On Board Simon chipboard (I didn't have the right upper case to complete my project and wanted to do it today). The leaves are cut from the Leaves #2 die and I used the Autumn vine paper to cut those as well. The little spheres at the bottom are also part of the pennant die and were cut from the Autumn Vine paper. For the chipboard letters, I inked them with More Mustard craft ink and then embossed them with Iridescent Ice embossing powder so they have some shimmer to them. I then mounted the pennants on the felt ribbon that comes in the Alpine Ribbon Originals in the Holiday Mini catalog. I used sticky strip to attach them. I have to say I really love my banner and it brightens up The Stampin' Spot quite a bit. I went and got a few items today I need for another fall project and hope to get it done tonight or tomorrow!
